The mission at Englisch-Ecke is to help students FINALLY improve their English. So, what is the plan?

Structure and Support

This is why Englisch-Ecke was started! For learners to finally have the chance to become better at English through regular English exposure in both a professional and informal setting.

Structure, support, routine and motivation is what you can find when you learn at Englisch-Ecke.

Students get weekly homework, regular level tests, grammar reviews, vocabulary lists and a friendly push from a teacher who cares. I want to build your confidence

Learners get enough time to practice, ask questions and review.

Because… “If you don’t use it, you lose it!”

The gyms are full of weights Free fitness videos are online

So, why do people still need trainers and coaches?

We have libraries full of books, YouTube, Google and Chat GPT…

So, why doesn’t everyone play 5 instruments and speak 10 languages?

Because… We are human : )

We get frustrated and unmotivated. This is why we still need coaches, trainers and teachers to push us and help us reach our goals

Weekly English Exposure

Want to improve your English fast?

THAT IS GREAT !!!

HERE IS THE BAD NEWS : (

This will not happen if you don’t speak English every week. Sadly, this is not “The Matrix” and we can’t download languages into our heads yet. You have to practice

In a country where most people do not speak English everyday, it is often difficult to find ways to use English face-to-face as much as people want. Most of us can’t leave our jobs and move to Canada, Britain or Australia for a year.

HERE IS THE GOOD NEWS : )

You can come to Englisch-Ecke and get hours regular practice, support and exposure every week!

General English

At English-Ecke, the focus is on General English. If you need English for work, studies, or travel, etc., I believe that regular General English is good enough for most people.

Often when I teach at companies, universities or language schools, the topic of graphs, charts or afternoon meetings at work are not always interesting topics.

Business English is helpful. However, in my last 15 years of teaching, I have noticed that students in business English classes often prefer General English topics.

Normally, students just want to discuss holidays, why they hate taxes, annoying neighbors, TV shows or when they first drank a beer. These are the everyday topics that all learners can connect with.

Not everyone needs or wants to communicate like CEOs, scientists, politicians or university professors. Most of us want to communicate more naturally, confidently and correctly.
