The Englisch-Ecke Approach
At Englisch-Ecke, you can finally improve your English with consistent, real-world practice. I believe that regular exposure — not just textbooks — is what builds confidence. Every week, students get support, structure, time to speak, and a friendly push from a teacher who cares about their progress.
Learning language takes routine and motivation, just like fitness or music. This is why I am here to keep you motivated and feeling supported, and not frustrated and lost.
The focus is on English that you can use in everyday life — whether for work, study, travel, hobby or conversation — because real communication matters more than perfectionism.
You will get regular homework, level checks, grammar and vocabulary reviews, and enough speaking time so that practice becomes progress.
Above all, Englisch-Ecke is about creating a supportive environment where weekly practice becomes a habit, your confidence grows, and English starts to feel natural.
Meet Your Instructor
Hi, I’m Brett, the instructor at Englisch-Ecke! With over 15 years of teaching experience and a passion for languages, I started Englisch-Ecke to share my love of English with the Stuttgart community.
I’m a qualified English teacher (certified in TEFL) and have taught students of all ages, backgrounds, and levels, from beginners to advanced business professionals.
I have worked in many countries, but have been living in Germany for many years. I understand the challenges that learners have when learning English – and I often know exactly how to help.
My teaching style is patient, creative, and fun: I encourage you to speak, ask questions and make mistakes (that’s how we learn!), and practice English in real-life contexts
